Student: Good morning teacher.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Ẹ káàárọ̀ olùkọ́. 
Teacher: Good morning student.   Olùkọ́: Káàárọ̀ akẹ́kọ̀ọ́. 
Teacher: Are you alright?   Olùkọ́: Ṣé dáradára ni o wà? 
Student: I am alright sir.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Dáradára ni mo wà sà. 
Teacher: What about your home work?   Olùkọ́: Iṣẹ́ àmúrelé rẹ ńkọ́? 
Student: It is here and it is done.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Ó ti wà ní ṣíṣe, òhun rèé. 
Teacher: Did you do it by yourself or did your parents help you?   Olùkọ́: Ṣé o dá a ṣe ni tàbí àwọn òbí ì rẹ ràn ọ́ lọ́wọ́? 
Student: My mother assisted me.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Ìyá à mi ràn mí lọ́wọ́. 
Teacher: It is okay.   Olùkọ́: Kò burú. 
Student: Thank you teacher.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Ẹ ṣeun olùkọ́. 
Teacher: You can go.   Olùkọ́: O lè má a lọ. 
I will go through the work soon.   Màá yẹ iṣẹ́ náà wò láìpẹ́.  
Student: It is okay sir.   Akẹ́kọ̀ọ́: Kò burú sà. 
Thank you.   Ẹ ṣeun.
